Match report The match between Super Kings and Prokarma on 5/17 @ 5:00 PM was again an intense affair.

On a sunny and humid day, Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat.

With Venkat departing early, it was upto Elan and Dinesh to do some damage control. They managed to do just that by taking the score to 20/1 in 5 overs before Elan got out. It was Dinesh's show all the way from then on. With nice support by Rajeev R, Dinesh finally took the team score to 86 for loss of just 4 wickets in 14 overs. He remained unbeaten on 53 runs.

Super Kings felt it was a decent score to defend.

With 87 required in 14 overs, Prokama started off well, the bulk of scoring done by their opener Santhosh. Though wickets were falling at one end, he went after the bowlers and at one stage Prokarma was 30/2 in 5 overs. Super Kings came back into the game with some disciplined bowling and taking wickets at regular intervals. They eventually bundled Prokarma out for 50 runs in 12.1 overs. Santhosh top scored for Prokarma with 22 runs.

So, Super Kings won this match by 36 runs with all their bowlers among wickets. Elan and Naveen 3 wickets each, Namasivayam 2 and Ashutosh 1 wicket.

MoM to Dinesh for his well compiled 53 runs in 39 balls.
