Match report The match between Super Kings and Tigers on 7/11 @ 4:00 PM was again an intense affair.

On one of the hottest days this summer, mercury levels touching 100 Fahrenheit, Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat.

With Rajiv departing early, it was upto Elan and Dinesh to consolidate the innnings. They managed to do just that by taking the score 60 in 8 overs. Couple of quick wickets again put Super Kings in a mode of panic but a few cameo innings from Ashutosh and Venkat made sure that Super Kings reached to an above par total of 102 for the loss of 7 wickets. Elan top scored with 38 runs and Dinesh ably supported him with an unbeaten 36 runs.

Super Kings felt it was a good score to defend if they put pressure on the Tigers' batting.

With 103 required in 14 overs, Tigers never looked in control at the start. Super Kings were on the top by taking couple of quick wickets and maintaining pressure by bowling some decent spells. Then Yasir and Pravin took the innings in control by scoring a few quick runs and a couple of maximums. They took the score to 60/2 in 9 overs before Yasir was run out brilliantly by Elan. Aniket looked good in the middle but the rising run rate made him to swing wildly in the 11th over but was caught behind. With 36 required in the last 2 overs, Tigers only reached to 87 for the loss of 7 wickets. Super Kings fielded briliantly by taking all the catches and running 3 Tigers out. Yasir top scored for Tigers with 31 runs.

So, Super Kings won this match by 15 runs with Elan taking the bulk of wickets.

For his top score of 38 runs, an awesome spell of 4 overs, 16 runs and 3 wickets, a catch and a brilliant run out, Elan was adjudged the Man of the Match.
