A perfect sunny day for cricket in Omaha witnessed the launch of the first leatherball Triangular Series featuring NCC, SPC and Mavericks.

SPC batted first starting with Rajesh Kumar Panigrahi (20 off 14 balls, 1 sixer, 2 fours) and Purathatil Krishnan (49 off 34 balls, 4 fours) putting on a good opening partnership. Sufyaan Hayath (35 off 27 balls, 3 fours), Mohammad Kashif Akhtar (14 off 13 balls, 1 sixer) and Sami Rahmanzai (10 off 6 balls, 1 four) helped SPC setup a target of 176 runs for NCC. Wasim Shariff (4-0-25-3) and Suresh Gorantla (2-0-16-1) were the wicket takers for NCC.
