Match report 2013 SPC OPL T16 90th vs UNMC

90th continued their winning streak this week and won by 5 wickets. After winning the toss, 90th once again decided on chasing the target. UNMC opened with Javed and Shakeel and both of them gave their team a solid start. They ran hard picking singles and couples and took the score to 43 before Shakeel was run out. This is the opening 90th was looking for, as UNMC lost their last 9 wickets for 45 runs. Excellent bowling by Haroon once again 4-0-14-3. He was well supported by Nohman 4-0-22-2 and new fast bowler Nasir 4-0-23-2. 90th had three of UNMC batsmen run out through some excellent fielding.

90th batting did not start well and lost two wickets in the very first over. Haroon and Kashif then tried to stabilized the batting but Haroon, trying to pierce a big gap was caught magnificently by Vipul who ran 30 yards to his left and took a great catch. Soon, Kashif was run out and Khalid followed him immediately after that. 90th had lost half of their side for some 30 odd runs. Suleman Khatri, playing his first game of the week started tentatively but picked his rhythm soon. He along with Imran khan added more than 50 runs (18 runs in the 14th over) and took their team to victory. Suleman Khatri remained unbeaten on 31 runs with three boundaries and Imran Khan scored an unbeaten 19 with 1 huge six.
