Match report Overlords won the toss and elected to bowl first. Chandra and Suresh started the bowling attack and Huskers batsmen played to the merit. Singles and doubles were easy to come by until Praveen went for a big shot but holed out at the deep mid wicket by Susheel to a well judged catch. Huskers lost a couple of more wickets due to disciplined bowling by Ankit and Suresh. Wasim batted well and kept scoring runs while other batsmen failed to get going. Avinash was brought in as second change and he took quick wickets to restrict Huskers to a moderate 61/8 in 14 overs. Wasim was highest scorer with 13 runs. Avinash took 5 wickets in 3 overs.
Overlords started their innings cautiously but soon lost quick wickets. Runs were hard to come by and Huskers kept the pressure up. Overlords lost 3 wickets quickly but Shovik and Ankit stabilized the innings. Shovik got out when Overlords needed 28 in 6 overs with Ankit still at the crease and Avinash joining him, both played sensibly and got to the target in 12.2 overs.
MOM: Ankit for his 21* in 22 balls and tight spell of 4 overs.
