Match report ACL T20 Match UDCC vs NCC

UNO won the toss and put NCC to bat first.

Uno started the proceedings with Lakshman and Sumanth , both of them were swinging the ball from both the sides which troubled NCC batsmen at the starting. NCC got the early blow from Lakshman at the very first ball of the season, partha was caught by Rajneesh at the slips After few overs from the second spell NCC batsmen Pradeep and Gaurav Patil started attacking the UNO bowlers and both scored 23 and 17 respectively.

In 5th over UNO bowler got 2 wickets but unfortunately both of them were NO-Ball calls, which resulted in few more extra runs followed by couple of boundaries onto square leg and mid on by Gaurav Gaurav Patil.

Mohan in his second over got Gaurav's wicket. Sufiyan took the charge from then starting hitting boundary each over which helped NCC to improve the Run-rate.

After the loss of pradeep's wicket JJ pitched in and by that time NCC runrate was above 8. JJ and Sufyaan Hayath hit 53 and 47 runs respectively.

Ncc scored 178 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing a high target UNO started batting with Rajneesh Bhatti and Lakshman Sp . Those coverDrives from Rajineesh were eye feast to watch. Rajneesh scored 58 runs in just 30 balls and got out by Sriram. By then UNO got the kick start to chase the target. Later uno's batting line up was backed up by Surya Penmatsa he scored a quick 15 runs and after him Mohan took the charge and scored 30 of 20 balls and after a fall of few wickets Ujwal gave a blistering knock and scored 38 runs in just 19 balls. With a even contribution from all the batsmen UNO chased the target comfortably in 19 overs. UNO chased 179/8 in 19 Overs

For his quick 31 runs and 4 overs 24 runs and 1 wicket Ujwal Reddy Yanala awarded the MoM.

Note: This is the first ever Leather ball game for UNO.
